The role of Programme Administrator will be an important appointment within the organisation ensuring that the LEP maintains excellent systems to manage its interactions with businesses and delivers a high-quality workshop programme responding to the need of all of our businesses.
Terms and Conditions
Job Title: | Programme Administrator |
Salary: | Circa £26,000 per annum |
Hours: | 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working to suit business needs. |
Holidays: | 25 days + Bank Holidays; 3 days at Christmas; Generous enhanced redundancy scheme for those employed over 12 months. |
Pension: | A contributory pension scheme of 5%, 7% or 10% which is matched by CLEP. |
Location: | Hybrid home/office working with an expectation that the successful candidate will attend the office at least once per week. |
Terms: | Fixed-term appointment, until 31 March 2024, with the potential for extension. |
Purpose
The Programme Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that all businesses supported are eligible for support, data requirements in relation to the LEP’s business support activity is met and that the support provided is accurately recorded on the CLEP’s systems.
The post holder will also arrange the programme’s workshop programme ensuring that these are effectively scheduled and the invitation process and workshop arrangements are managed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Database management, ensuring that all data is appropriately captured in line with programme and funding requirements.
- Working with sub-contractors to confirm the eligibility of client businesses to receive support.
- Supporting the Programme Team with communications and administration activity.
- Organising the delivery of CLEP’s workshop programme, ensuring that events are well attended and run smoothly whether online or in-person.
- Occasional attendance at external events to represent CLEP and its programmes.
Person Specification
- Strong data management capabilities with the ability to prepare and present data in report format.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience of organising and supporting events and meetings, securing and liaising with hosts, speakers and delegates to ensure events and meetings are professionally run.
- Strong prioritisation and planning skills and the ability to work as part of a team and with the ability and confidence to work alone.
- Active problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues as and when they arise.
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently, prioritising a busy workload and resolving conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Adaptable, positive and resilient with the ability to deal with ambiguity in a changing environment.
