  • Maryport Harbour Camping Park – Development of a new camping park at Maryport Harbour to provide 26 serviced caravan and motorhome pitches, 6 camping pod options plus amenities block and café. The project will support the town’s tourism potential and create 3.9 new jobs and increase visitor spend by £0.5m per annum.
  • The Lakes Distillery – redevelopment of an industrial site into 6 new operational warehouses to store and mature The Lakes Distillery premium single malt whisky stock, creating 9 new jobs.
  • Graphskill – Phase 2 of the redevelopment of a manufacturing site delivering a new build factory extension and specialist equipment to support the expansion of manufacturing capacity and increase the range of products and services. The project will create 5 new jobs and increase turnover by £0.2m.
  • Cooke’s Studio’s – Refurbishment of a derelict Victorian building in the heart of Barrow-in-Furness to create digital creative industries hub providing both flexible office space for creative entrepreneurs as well as shared community space to encourage participation in digital and creative pursuits.

To date over £2.87m of private sector leverage and 26 jobs have been created to date with a further 102 jobs anticipated over the coming years.
