Cumbria LEP Hosts Annual General Meeting
Cumbria LEP hosted its public Annual General Meeting on Friday, 22 September with a wide range of businesses and public and private sector partners attending the videoconference to hear more about the LEP and its activities.
Jo Lappin, Chief Executive said ”I was delighted that so many of our businesses and wider partners were able to join Lord Inglewood and me on Friday afternoon to hear more about some of our activities. We were able to showcase the breadth of the LEP’s activities from capital programmes through to our business support activity.”
“At the meeting we confirmed that our Annual Report 2023 would be released after the AGM, and this can be accessed here on our website.”
“Importantly, we stressed that our focus is very much business first – the LEP is here to support our economy, businesses and maximise opportunities and address barriers. Going forward, over the next twelve months this will remain our absolute focus.”
