Cumbrian Launch of Made Smarter Programme
– 15 April 2019
Supporting Cumbrian Makers, Creators, Manufacturers & Engineers to develop, grow and demonstrate the breadth of available support.
Join us on Thursday 16th May at 10am at Junction 36 Kendal, to learn first-hand about the newly launched Made Smarter programme – supporting manufacturers to digitise and innovate through expert advice, grant funding, leadership development & student placements.
If you are a maker or creator with any ideas or questions about how to innovate, digitise or upgrade your systems and technology generally – come along to learn about how Made Smarter can support your journey with access to expert advice on how to approach technologies such as additive manufacturing, sensors, big data, and virtual reality.
If you already have a project in mind or underway, advisers will be available to kick start your application on the day and discuss match-funded grant options.
We will also have representatives from a variety of business support agencies including Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, Cumbria LEP, Cumbria Manufacturing Service, the Department for International Trade – North West and Lombard to demonstrate how your business can grow.
