Announcements
- The cabinet office has published a statement from the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster to the House of Commons on Brexit preparedness.

Guidance and Information
- Updated guidance has been issued on the healthcare entitlement of overseas visitors from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland following Brexit. - In the event of a No Deal Brexit, EEA citizens arriving in the UK after 31 October 2019 will need to apply for Euro TLR if they wish to stay in the UK beyond 31 December 2020. - The list of organisations in England and Scotland that inspect and certify animals and animal products for export has been updated. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/find-a-professional-to-certify-export-health-certificates
- The Beta version of the EUSS App is now available on the Apple App Store The iOS version of EU Exit ID Document Check App enables applicants to verify their identity remotely without the need to post their ID document to the Home Office. The App is entirely optional and is just one of several ways people can verify their identity. It will be available on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus following an upcoming iOS software update.
- The guidance on what adult social care providers and local authorities need to do to prepare for a no-deal Brexit has been updated to include measures to take regarding equipment, food, working with suppliers and making contacts in the local area. Funding for training Certification Support Officers
Further funding has been made available for Local Authorities in England to train Certification Support Officers (CSO) in the event of a no deal Brexit. To be a CSO the individual must hold the OCQ(AHP)-CSO qualification. CSO candidates will need to register themselves first on the AHP database (https://www.improve-ahp.com/registration/). The first 200 candidates will have their fees waived. To access the funding, please use the following invoices at the payment stage:
- For registration on the AHP database – enter the invoice code APHCSR
- For subsequent Enrolment on the CSO course, following eligibility verification by an EHO/FSO – enter the invoice code APHCSE
Guidance about the risk-based approach for the export certification of fishery products in the event of a no-deal Brexit has been released. The guidance can be found on the The FSA Smarter Communications Platform.

Home Office EUSS Teleconferences
The Home Office is running a series of teleconferences for front line staff who support Looked After Children and care leavers to provide further information about the EU Settlement Scheme. They will take place on the following dates:
- 19 November 2019 – 1200-1300
- 18 December 2019 – 1200-1300
- 21 January 2020 – 1200-1300
- 18 February 2020 – 1200-1300
- 24 March 2020 – 1200-1300
