BEIS looking for ideas for new Business Basics Fund
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) will soon be opening the Business Basics Fund: a new fund aimed at testing ways of getting small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to take up technology and business practices that can help them become productive.
BEIS will be looking for businesses, the public sector, charities, universities, researchers, trade bodies and representative groups to come forward with ideas that can be tested and learned from. They will also welcome and encourage LEPs and Growth Hubs to put their own ideas forward.
BEIS first call will be opening on the Innovation Funding Service website in a few weeks’ time. BEIS would like people to start thinking now about ideas now. To find out more, contact Clair.Bowman@beis.gov.uk
