Webinar: Overview of Digital Technology in 2021

This webinar delivered as part of the Digital Tech Cumbria programme along with CDI Alliance, will give a broad overview of how to manage your business working remotely including communication, management tools and everything digital required for remote working and is ideal for the business or sole-trader that is new to using and adopting digital applications as part of their business activities.

The webinar will explain the jargon that surrounds digital technology and provide simple practical tips on programmes, tools and applications that can be implemented immediately to enable effective remote working. It will highlight some of pitfalls of remote working and give practical remedies. The participants will leave with a good understanding of digital applications and a plan of what technologies, safeguards and processes they need to incorporate into their business activities.

Guy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Technology having worked as Head of Production Technology for ITV being responsible for the development of future solutions and media workflow to deliver programming requirements across all departments. Also being engaged by the BBC as the lead technology adviser for Media City. to develop, shape, and deliver the technology strategy plan and budgetary costings that achieved BBC Board of Governors’ approval for the new BBC site to be based at Media City UK in Salford.
