Office of the Future

Date: October 14th, 14:00-15:00

Coronavirus has changed our day to day lives in so many ways that we would never have imagined. One of the biggest considerations for many is a move away from commuting to their place of work each day and a switch to home working. This has proved to be one of the biggest challenges both for employers and employees.

‘Will there be a return to the pre-pandemic routine, what the future of work may look and the social and economic impact across working communities?’

Nigel Emmerson and Will Bonas from legal firm Womble Bond Dickinson, Reed Hauser from the Seven Partnership and Ali Westwood from CBI North and Cumbria, will share insights and advice on the steps businesses can take now, to prepare for a long term, sustainable new way of working.

  • Nigel Emmerson, Partner, Womble Bond Dickinson
  • Will Bonas, Cumbria group lead, Womble Bond Dickinson

This forms part of a series of regular Business Advice Clinics, hosted by CLEP, featuring professional services specialists and case studies from Cumbrian businesses with experience on the subject. The sessions are intended to help guide Cumbrian businesses through the Coronavirus crisis, assist with building resilience and returning to growth. As always, our participants have the option of asking questions confidentially through anonymous questions that are not attributed.
